+ In the Fall of 2013 artist Kristen Hatgi Sink and Goldyn embarked on a collaborative project, bringing together the worlds of collodion wet plate photography - an antique process that dates back to the 1800s - with modern-day fashion photography. The result was Crowns - a series of wetplate images shot by Sink, featuring clothing and styling by Goldyn. The crowns concept plays upon themes of feminism, with the idea of every woman as a goddess or queen in her own right. For the project, Sink hand made a different crown for each model to wear, based upon that woman's own personality and background.
