won the venerable Silver Thimble Award in 1988 from Ann Cole. Thereafter, she moved to London and quickly rose to head designer of Jane Ong & Company. Eventually, Cynthia Vincent
returned to the states. After working for Vince clothing, she resigned in 2002 to launch Twelfth Street
. The idea of women helping women to feel sexy yet comfortable inspired the namesake designer and co-owner Cynthia Vincent
