Upon its inception, Alexander McQueen himself described the McQ style as "younger and more renegade but always signature McQueen". Beautifully conceived and impeccably constructed, McQ's fashions are nevertheless edgy and rebellious, featuring many of the design characteristics we've come to recognize as classic McQueen: embellished knits, tartan plaids, zipper detailing, and that chic-punk vibe.
Now under the creative direction of Sarah Burton, McQ has lost none of its verve, continuing to play a definitive role in accessible designer fashions.
