Gabriel Conroy
Gabriel Conroy, an emerging designer who earned degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Colorado Institute of Art, began his career as a costume tailor at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and went on to design couture gowns for private clients for special events. Skills gained from this unique background have made him a master sewer and fit expert. As such, his designs are made distinctive not only by their artistic vision, but also their superior craftsmanship and silhouettes.
Gabriel strives whenever possible to use fabrics that are environmentally friendly and methods of production that are socially responsible and support local industry. The vast majority of his pieces are crafted from organic materials like soy and cotton and are made locally.
"One of the most satisfying things about designing is creating something that makes my client feel connected to the evolving world of fashion. I am constantly trying to design pieces that fit contemporary times, all the while maintaining a classically beautiful look. I feel a certain sense of reward when I create a garment that integrates itself seamlessly into a woman's lifestyle, making her feel beautiful and confident."
